During the summer the Martial Arts  Academy with the Academy's Chief Instructor Sensei Agis Agisilaou organised at Arsinoe Beach Hotel, Limassol, the 2nd International Karate-Do Competition, as well as seminars in Aikido, Tai-Chi and Karate-Do. The seminars were taught  by 4 distinguished European Martial Arts Instructors:
Sensei George Stavrou (Aikido Chief Instructor and Examiner - over 45 years'  experience)
Sensei Vaclav Liska (Karate-do & Tai-Chi Chief Instructor -  over 40 years' experience)
Sensei Agis Agisilaou (Aikido, Karate &  Tai-Chi Chief Instructor - over 25 years' experience)
Sensei Eva Hrubcova  (Karate & Tai-Chi Chief Instructor - over 20 years' experience)
Aikido is relatively new to Cyprus and was first introduced by Sensei Agis Agisilaou, Chief Instructor at the Martial Arts Academy with the technical assistance of  Master George Stavrou.
