ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED POWER STEERING (EPS) The active electronic power steering sensors constantly receive road speed and surface information from the Dynamic Steering Response system to intelligently adjust steering resistance for maximum control and 'feel'. ANTI LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) An intelligent system which senses the New Ibiza’s movements at 4 points – engine, accelerator, steering and brakes – providing the safest, most effective braking and directional control available. ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAMME (ESP) ESP constantly monitors information from the New Ibiza’s onboard sensors and, if necessary, keeps it on course by making precise automatic adjustments to the direction through the wheels. TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) TCS keeps everything under control by ensuring the New Ibiza’s wheels stick to the road and don't just spin, wasting power, when you put your foot down. SEAT SUSPENSION Our patented SEAT suspension further refines your ride, making your experience as smooth and controlled as it is thrilling. The rear suspension is uncoupled from the spring, increasing stability, along with ‘silent blocks’ to give a better overall dynamic response. The front suspension is based on the McPherson system with lower triangles not directly joined to the chassis.
