A well-mannered person
is easy to recognize. Knowing how to
carry oneself in every situation is an
indispensable skill. SEAT engineers
have equipped the New Cordoba with impressive
handling capabilities. To always feel
in total control.
Agile Chassis
The groundbreaking SEAT Agile Chassis
provides a highly rigid, finely tuned
framework which transforms the steering,
brakes, transmission and body into
a single, responsive unit. This
intuitive equipment turns your steering
intentions into a precise manoeuvre.
The New Cordoba’s solid navigation system
minimises body roll for maximum road
safety.
Electronically controlled power steering
is speed-sensitive and reinforced by
anti lock brakes. In addition, the steering
wheel actively self-aligns when you release
it after making a turn.

ANTI LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
(ABS)
An intelligent system which senses the New Cordoba’s
movements at 4 points – engine, accelerator,
steering and brakes – providing the safest, most
effective braking and directional control available.

 |
 |
 |
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAMME
(ESP)
ESP constantly monitors information from the
New Cordoba’s onboard sensors and, if necessary,
keeps it on course by making precise automatic
adjustments to the direction through the wheels.

EMERGENCY BRAKE ASSISTANCE
(EBA)
A highly sensitive system that delivers maximum
braking power upon the shortest pedal movement.
The EBA sensors recognise your attempt to brake
and transmit a signal calling for full brake
pressure.

 |
 |
 |
TRACTION CONTROL
SYSTEM (TCS)
TCS keeps everything under control by
ensuring the New Cordoba’s wheels stick
to the road and don't just spin or waste
power.

SEAT SUSPENSION
Our patented SEAT suspension further
refines your ride, making your experience
as smooth and controlled as it is thrilling.
The rear suspension is uncoupled from
the spring, increasing stability, along
with ‘silent blocks’ to give a better
overall dynamic response. The front
suspension is based on the McPherson
system with lower triangles not directly
joined to the chassis.
